Bee in the Woods Kindergarten is nestled within Foredown Allotments, Thornbush Crescent, Portslade. The allotment gates are kept locked and visits are by appointment only.
Our Kindergarten can be reached via Thornbush Crescent, Portslade and is within 5-10 minute walking and/or cycling distance to Portslade, Benfield Valley, Hangleton and West Hove.
The Number 6 Bus route runs from Brighton Train Station to Downs Park, Portslade and stops at the end of Thornbush Crescent (Sycamore Close). From the bus stop there is a 5 minute walk to our Kindergarten.
Our nearest station is Portslade Train Station, which is roughly a 30-minute walk/10-minute cycle to Bee in the Woods Kindergarten.
Foredown Allotments are situated at the end of Thornbush Crescent, a quiet residential street on the outskirts of Portslade. We can be easily accessed by car from the A27 or Old Shoreham Road and parking is free. If you drive, we ask that you 'Park and Stride' by parking towards the start of Thornbush Crescent and walking to the end of the crescent to the allotments.
